Equities were also dented by poor eurozone economic data, and as Trump cast doubt on a planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. “Trump (is) continuing to drive uncertainty over global trade,” said analyst Joshua Mahony at trading firm IG. “European markets are following their Asian counterparts lower, as a pessimistic tone from Trump is compounded by downbeat economic data,” he added. Markets had surged Monday after US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Chinese Vice Premier Liu He said they had agreed to pull back from imposing threatened tariffs on billions of dollars of goods, and continue talks on a variety of trade issues. However, Trump has declared that he was “not satisfied” with the status of the talks, fuelling worries that the world’s top two economies could still slug out an economically pain

Protest as herdsmen kill over 25 in Plateau, Delta.

No fewer than 29 people were allegedly killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Nkei-Dongwro near Miango in Bassa Local Government Area, Plateau State, yesterday. A dusk-to-dawn curfew had earlier been imposed on Bassa following a series of attacks in the area. But the gunmen have been defying the curfew as the attacks usually take place in the night. The National President of Irigwe Development Association and former member of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Sunday Abdu, confirmed that 29 people mainly women and children were killed by the gunmen. According to Abdu, some men seen as soldiers took the victims to one classroom with a view to saving their lives as they had all abandoned their ancestral homes, but it turned out to be a disguise as the gunmen massacred them as soon as they were left vulnerable by their perceived protectors. Abdu, who said the village was attacked before, expected that the place should have still have been under the watch of the soldiers.

Mitsubishi Is Changing The Way Cars Give Signals .

According to research 60 percent of pedestrian fatalities on roads occur at night .Mitsubishi wants to help reduce the number and make the road safer for everyone at night. They have announced a new safe and secure lighting system ,which utilizes a mixture of symbols projected on road surfaces and electronic car displays to signal vehicle warning signals, movement and actions. Let me break it down : Imagine a system where you don’t have to depend solely on signals like reverse light ,but also on signals that are projected on the floor and other objects. With time the system is expected to be integrated into self-driving cars ,so it can inform pedestrians and other road users especially conventional drivers of any move it intends to make. Are we in the future already ? Take a look at the images below :

11 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Airplanes .

It’s estimated lightning strikes each aircraft once a year—or once per every 1,000 hours of flight time. Yet, lighting hasn’t brought down a plane since 1963, due to careful engineering that lets the electric charge of a lightning bolt run through the plane and out of it, typically without causing damage to the plane. There is no safest seat on the plane The FAA says there is no safest seat on

US strikes kill dozens at IS traning camp.

The US military said Monday it killed dozens of Islamic State fighters at the group’s training camps in central Yemen, in the first such strikes in the country’s conflict. Witnesses said villagers were prevented by tribal leaders from approaching the area and retrieving the dead and wounded for fear of additional strikes. Locals said the camps, both in Bayda province, were named after prominent IS figures: Yemen chief Abu Bilal al-Harbi and former global spokesman Abu Mohamed al-Adnani, killed last summer in a US air strike. This is the first time allies of Yemen’s internationally recognised government have announced raids against IS footholds. “US forces killed dozens of ISIS members in a strike on two ISIS training camps… in Al-Bayda Governorate, Yemen, disrupting the organization’s attempts to train new fighters,” US Central Command, which oversees US forces in the region, said in a statement. “ISIS used the camps to train militants to conduct terror attacks using AK-
