World markets dive as Trump sparks trade, North Korea worries

Global stocks sank Wednesday after US President Donald Trump said he was not satisfied with talks that are aimed at averting a trade war with China. Equities were also dented by poor eurozone economic data, and as Trump cast doubt on a planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. “Trump (is) continuing to drive uncertainty over global trade,” said analyst Joshua Mahony at trading firm IG. “European markets are following their Asian counterparts lower, as a pessimistic tone from Trump is compounded by downbeat economic data,” he added. Markets had surged Monday after US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Chinese Vice Premier Liu He said they had agreed to pull back from imposing threatened tariffs on billions of dollars of goods, and continue talks on a variety of trade issues. Descendant of last survivor of final slave ship to travel from African to United State..

The great-great-grandson of the last survivor of the final slave ship to take captives from Africa to America has spoken of his pride at seeing his great-great-grandfather’s story finally being published 87 years after it was written. Garry Lumbers told The Independent he wouldn’t just buy the book  Barracoon  for himself, but also for all his 22 grandchildren, and study it with them. He said he will do this to play his part in ensuring that never again would the world neglect the story of his great ancestor: born in Africa as Kossula, died in America in 1935 as Cudjo Lewis. Know the Actual Difference between Analyse and Analyze.

Key Difference:  Analyse is primarily used in UK language, whereas Analyze is used in US English. The terms themselves are the same.
