World markets dive as Trump sparks trade, North Korea worries

Global stocks sank Wednesday after US President Donald Trump said he was not satisfied with talks that are aimed at averting a trade war with China. Equities were also dented by poor eurozone economic data, and as Trump cast doubt on a planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. “Trump (is) continuing to drive uncertainty over global trade,” said analyst Joshua Mahony at trading firm IG. “European markets are following their Asian counterparts lower, as a pessimistic tone from Trump is compounded by downbeat economic data,” he added. Markets had surged Monday after US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Chinese Vice Premier Liu He said they had agreed to pull back from imposing threatened tariffs on billions of dollars of goods, and continue talks on a variety of trade issues. Daddy Showkey Calls Out Blackface On Feud With 2Baba.

Veteran Nigerian musician Daddy Showkey has found his way into the ongoing feud between former members of defunct group Plantashun Boiz, 2Baba and Blackface.
Daddy Showkey posted a video on his Instagram page with a caption stating his displeasure about the issue.

He mentioned once being in 2baba’s position and called on both artists to sort out their issues amicably.
The Galala singer asked Blackface to stop ranting, let his music speak for him and to ask for help instead of granting interviews to bring 2baba down.
He also told 2baba to stop responding to disses and focus his music.
He wrote:
“I don’t see why people like building issues out of nothing. What do you want Tuface to come and say about him and Blackface? O boy! You and your pulse tv, make Una go sleep if una no get something to talk. If you want to make peace, you don’t create war!
You don’t call people out to start saying things about one and another. People try to make peace between people. You are trying to call tuface to come and say what? O boy! Make Una no make person vex oo!!! What do you really know about these two young men Do you know where they started from? @blackfacenaija let your music speak for you! Stop RANTING!!!
It is high time you guys stop this childish behavior! You all are people’s fathers, you have children. I went through what @official2baba is going through and I know what jealousy can cause. I am not happy when I see young men that started together beefing each other. If you want help, there are so many ways to go about it and if you feel you can do it by yourself, go ahead! It’s is not until when you bring your brother man down that will make you be relevant.
