World markets dive as Trump sparks trade, North Korea worries

Global stocks sank Wednesday after US President Donald Trump said he was not satisfied with talks that are aimed at averting a trade war with China. Equities were also dented by poor eurozone economic data, and as Trump cast doubt on a planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. “Trump (is) continuing to drive uncertainty over global trade,” said analyst Joshua Mahony at trading firm IG. “European markets are following their Asian counterparts lower, as a pessimistic tone from Trump is compounded by downbeat economic data,” he added. Dimensions

The Samsung Galaxy is one of the biggest phones that you can buy. The iPhone X comes with a screen size of 5.8 inches, but the screen size may not reveal the whole story. Display

The Note 8 and the iPhone X feature excellent displays. iPhone X comes with its first OLED screen ditching the IPS LCD for the first time. The Note 8 comes with a better resolution when compared with the iPhone X. Numerically, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will win over the iPhone X in resolution and size.

Processor

The iPhone X is powered by the new A11 bionic chip which is smart and powerful. It has 4.3 billion transistors and gives a good run for Note 8’s Snapdragon 835 processor. The Note 8 is powered by a memory of 6GB of RAM. Apple has usually been limited when it comes to RAM. But, Apple is helped by the iOS optimization the A11 chip comes with and the Apple designed GPU that has three cores to boosts the game.

Battery

The battery on both the devices almost seems to be the same. Both the phones can support wireless charging. The Note 8 comes with a battery life of 3300 mAh.

Storage

Both the devices support storage of 64 GB. iPhone X comes with a storage of 256 GB, which is not available with Note 8. But, the Note 8 comes with a microSD card that will help you upgrade storage to a higher value.

Camera

Note 8 has a slightly better aperture when compared with the iPhone X. The iPhone X comes with the portrait mode while the Note 8 offers Live focus. The Note 8 has the ability to adjust the background blur, which is not available with the iPhone X. But, the iPhone X come with a new feature called Portrait lighting which creates various instances of studio lightings when portraits are shot.
The iPhone X is able to shoot with 4K at 60 fps while the Note 8 can shoot at 30 fps. The iPhone X can shoot at slow motion at 1080p at 240 fps while the Note 8 can only support it at 720p.
The Apple iPhone X comes with an improve image signal processor, comes with lighting and auto focus improvement. The Note 8’s camera is also impressive. The iPhone’s bionic A11 chip has a neural engine that can perform over 600 million operations per second. This will be used to help with face ID, augmented reality and Animoji.

AR and VR

Note 8 does not provide much AR benefits. Google ARCore will help the phone take advantage of this technology. But, it is yet to be seen on how it will compare with Apple’s AR kit. The Note 8 comes with better VR experience compare with iPhone X.

Protection

The home button has been eliminated from the iPhone X. It does not support touch ID. It has Face ID, which uses True Depth camera technology to create a unique facial map. Note 8 can be unlocked with the fingerprint, face and the retina.

Price

The iPhone X come with a price tag of 999 dollar compared with Note 8’s 930-dollar price tag. Although the prices of both the devices are very high, The Note 8 is slightly cheaper than the Apple’s iPhone X.
