World markets dive as Trump sparks trade, North Korea worries

Global stocks sank Wednesday after US President Donald Trump said he was not satisfied with talks that are aimed at averting a trade war with China. Equities were also dented by poor eurozone economic data, and as Trump cast doubt on a planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. “Trump (is) continuing to drive uncertainty over global trade,” said analyst Joshua Mahony at trading firm IG. “European markets are following their Asian counterparts lower, as a pessimistic tone from Trump is compounded by downbeat economic data,” he added. Markets had surged Monday after US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Chinese Vice Premier Liu He said they had agreed to pull back from imposing threatened tariffs on billions of dollars of goods, and continue talks on a variety of trade issues. Man And His Family Celebrate Barcelona's Win Against Chelsea (Photos).

A Nigerian journalist and former worker in Bayelsa State Government, couldn't contain his excitement yesterday after Barcelona thrashed Chelsea 3-0 at Camp Nou in Spain. The hardcore Barca fan, Eberiye Christopher ensured his whole family including his baby daughter wore Barcelona jerseys to celebrate the Spanish club's Champions league qualification.

The man who apparently woke up in a happy mood - continued with his excitement as he shared a picture of him flying the Barcelona flag on his way to work this morning in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital.

According to him, 'he's going to a suburb in Yenagoa this morning to receive some decamped fans from Chelsea to Fc Barcelona'.

Barcelona put on a spectacle on the Nou Camp stage as they beat Chelsea to seal their place in the UEFA Campions League quarter finals.

Lionel Messi score two goals and also gave a superb assist to Dembele for another as Chelsea crashed out of the Champions League losing 4-1 on aggregate after the first leg ended 1-1 at the Stamford Bridge..
