Instagram Influencer, Tunde Ednut has thrown a jab at Wizkid and other Nigerian artists who purportedly do not appreciate, like pictures/videos when people tag them on social media.
According to the entertainer who is reacting to Rihanna using the video of ‘Ikorodu Talented Kids’ dancing to ‘Nowo’ a song by Dj Spinall ft. Wizkid to celebrate her being the first female to cross 2 billion worldwide streams, Nigerian artists feel too big and believe it’s their right for fans to post their songs on social media and Wizkid is in the forefront of such attitude.
“With 60million followers, they tagged her and she has posted them twice. Our celebrities never even reach 10million, them go pretend like say them no dey see anything wey dey go on for social media. Some won’t even like your post when you help them promote. They believe it’s their right for you to post their poo. Anyways, we can’t always stand on that table, we will come down from it one day because the table go tire for you. Na wood nau”. he said.
He made this known after Rihanna for the second time shared a photo of Ikorodu kids thanking her for sharing their dance video.
She wrote “awww my Lil squad…..I love YOU guys! I speak on behalf of the entire social media when I say this… you really brought a pure joy to our spirits just by seeing how happy you are when you dance! You personally made my day! Keep up the great work kids! (see previous post)”
