Aubameyang described his playing style as “like Henry a little bit” but added that he will “have to work a lot to be like him”.
The forward also expressed his delight at joining Arsenal and the chance to be reunited with former Dortmund teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The pair spent three years together at the Westfalenstadion before Mkhitaryan left for Manchester United in 2016.
“I’m really happy to be here,” Aubameyang told the club's official website. “Of course I can join Mkhi in this team so I’m really happy to be here in this great team.”
In a message to fans, the player added: “I hope we will come back to the top as soon as possible and I will do my best to join in!”
