Organisers of the Lagos Women Run have described the turn out in the event this year as a testament to fact that Nigerian women are buying into the gospel for healthy living.
The Lagos Women Run was held at the weekend with over 3,000 participants from across the state running for the prizes as well as for different causes.
Speaking on the event, which flagged off at the second gate of the National Stadium on Saturday, the Coordinator, Tayo Popoola, said, “the turnout was massive. Even on the day of the Run, we had people coming to register, and this shows the acceptance of the project. We are grateful to all who made the Run a huge success.
